~~Application splash screens will not be branded this time. There are some legal aspects that needs to checked.~~ The work to drop application splash screens was not done, so we need to brand at least

General Tasks (Low Priority):

If people really want to use Raster artwork as an option for core design artwork, an alternative branding makefile script to at least replicate the current functionality of the branding makefile script here will need to be made (https://github.com/openSUSE/branding/blob/12.3/Makefile).This will also cause a lot more headache, describe in detail here: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-artwork/2013-01/msg00097.html. We could start including additional artwork in a supplementary package, but not for the core design, for now.

Improvements to the https://github.com/openSUSE/branding/blob/12.3/Makefile script to automate as much of the above outstanding work as possible.
