Social Media Marketing Plan
social media stuff we should check out for the release
- Identify social media to use and how to use them:
- Facebook: Create facebook event, page
- Twitter: Create daily countdown with a sneak message, hashtag to use
- LinkedIn,...
- Handle many languages
- digg news announcement by as many as possible to get on the digg homepage
- add announcement to social bookmarking sides like delicio.us and promote it
- Add announcement to reddit.com
- Tweet announcement and ask for retweets
- create metrics to record what we achieved
- create buzz leading to the launch - as well as buzz around the launch
- Create custom bit.ly URL for announcement that everybody can use to track clicks through it - and announce it.
