openSUSE Tumbleweed
The first installable test version of openSUSE Tumbleweed is available. To install, use the repositories available at http://download.opensuse.org/ports/zsystems/tumbleweed/repo/oss/ or download the ISO image from http://download.opensuse.org/ports/zsystems/tumbleweed/iso/. Note that this project is a port to Tumbleweed, and not a fully supported architecture.

Virtualization
Minimal VM images have been introduced with openSUSE Leap 16 and OpenShift AI/Virtualization for s390x. They are also provided via the Lima Project and our own repositories:

Info: PCI is disabled in the Leap kernel for s390x. boo#1252096 has identified that "-pci" as a qemu option can not be used. Use "-device virtio-scsi,id=scsi0" instead.

The current installable version of our stable release openSUSE Leap is 15.5. You can download the iso image for s390x from https://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.5/iso/ . Installation media are available for default installations as well as for network installations.
