openSUSE talk:Upgrade dependencies explanation
Title
Title: What is so (much) explaining in this article? Are other articles less explaining? Is a new namespace wanted for articles that are so bad written that they explain nothing? And as I understand it: not the dependencies got upgraded but the packages/the system (but maybe both). So what about:
openSUSE:Dependencies for system upgrade (see also: SDB Talk:System upgrade)

Between Bugfixes (Patches) and Distribution Upgrade
To How to do distribution_upgrades:
- system upgrade/repository upgrade
- package upgrade/program upgrade
- package update/program update / getting patches
There are things between upgrading the hole system to a new openSUSE version and just getting the newest patches. I can get new features for a program e. g. for my Firefox without changing the hole system/the openSUSE version.--Pistazienfresser 22:12, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
