openSUSE Marketing

While there is no formal marketing team, openSUSE has a group of talented and dedicated contributors who are always happy to help. The easiest way to get involved is by joining the openSUSE Marketing Telegram group or participating in one of our public community meetings.

Marketing Meetings

Regular public meetings are open to anyone interested in contributing to marketing efforts. You can find the meeting schedule on the openSUSE Marketing Calendar.

Minutes and summaries of past meetings are available at openSUSE:Marketing_meeting.

Contributing

There are several GitHub repositories where you can contribute or find marketing materials:

  • openSUSE/artwork – Logos, stickers, banners, and other general-purpose artwork.
  • openSUSE/branding – Official distribution branding, including wallpapers, logos, and icons (organized by branch/release).
  • openSUSE/wallpapers – A collection of additional non-default wallpapers.

Branding and Artwork Requests

If you couldn't find the artwork you're looking for in the openSUSE artwork repository, feel free to open an issue to request new banners, stickers, or logos.

For issues related to official distribution branding (e.g., wallpapers, logos, icons), please open an issue in the branding repository.

You can also join the discussion or get faster feedback by visiting the openSUSE Marketing Telegram group.
