- Is there a plan to convert Factory to it?
- Yes, when the scm-staging bot is completed (“phase 1”)
- Is anything currently already using git-workflow?
- Not yet. SLE BCI uses a git based workflow but it is entirely different
- What is the plan regarding storing tarballs in git? LFS? rpm extension?
- Fedora uses a
sources
file wiht checksums for all binary files which appears to be a simple workaround for missing LFS- It was invented before LFS existed? (I and dmach were around)
- OBS currently supports RemoteAsset for RPM and other build types:
- Document what the painpoints are with LFS ?
