The SUSE Meta PPP Daemon manages Dial-Up connections on behalf of the user. It supports
- ISDN, Modem and DSL connections
- manual dialing
- dial on demand
- multiple providers
- ISDN channel bundling
- PPP over ATM, PPTP, PPPOE for DSL
- accounting of time and traffic
- remote control over the network
There is a command line tool (cinternet), a KDE3 applet (kinternet), a Qt4 applet (qinternet) and a web interface (smpppd-web) to control smpppd
