Home automation or domotics is automation of separate systems for controlling all kinds of devices in your home. Such a system will monitor and/or control devices such as lighting, climate, entertainment systems, and other appliances. Home security such as access control and alarm systems may also be part of it.

This portal in meant to provide information for using an openSUSE system to run such a system.
