Welcome to the Domotics Portal Edit
Home automation or domotics is automation of separate systems for controlling all kinds of devices in your home. Such a system will monitor and/or control devices such as lighting, climate, entertainment systems, and other appliances. Home security such as access control and alarm systems may also be part of it.

Due to the fact that a Home Automation system must be available 24/7, a system using a small amount of energy, like an ARM based system, is most suited for this job. Therefor we will only consider an openSUSE Tumbleweed or Leap operating system running on a Raspberry Pi.
Currently only the following two software systems are available:

- The Python3 system home-assistant SDB:Home-Assistant
