Functionality

Epiphany started as a split-off of Galeon, replaced it as the default browser for GNOME and was later renamed Web. The browser:

  • can handle more than one tab (tabbed browsing)
  • has pop-up blocking
  • searches through categorizable bookmarks in the adress bar
  • allows you to save sites as Web application that can be opened as normal applications through the Gnome shell
