Category:SDB:Booting necessary in addition to Category:Booting?

Does it really make sense to have a Category:Booting and also a Category:SDB:Booting? Why are not all members of the same category "Booting"? As they are sorted by alphabet you can easily see the members of the namespace SDB all grouped together. --Pistazienfresser 22:06, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

Try Category:Booting as main for booting, and Category:Troubleshooting_booting as subcategory, then put articles currently in Category:SDB:Booting in Category:Troubleshooting_booting. Probably better name for booting would be "boot process", but right now there is no time for such change.

Hello rico!
Where did you find rico :)
Pronunciation is something like "Reiko" if you use German reading rules.  :) --Rajko m 15:03, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

I am not able to move sighted pages.
Move as in changing category? Probably change must be approved to be effective. I'm going trough review right now, so well see effects.--Rajko m 15:03, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

to 2) b) Is SDB:Prefered_bootloader_options is not about troubleshooting Still actual?? - If so it would be should be in main and in cat:booting.
Yes. It is not that common that people will play with this, so SDB. --Rajko m 15:03, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

3) I have created and filled Category:Special_booting with pages not about troubleshouting and not so main/regular...--Pistazienfresser 10:25, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Good one. Added above article to that category. --Rajko m 15:03, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

BTW, NNTP would be easier to use as discussion. This colon formatting is still broken. :) --Rajko m 15:03, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Hello Rajko (sorry for my spelling mistakes - I have now added your name to my Firefox dictionary)! Would you delete Category:SDB:Booting? I may be not so much a fan of deleting as others (Special:Log/delete ;) ) and more of #REDIRECT but I think in this case deletion would really make sense.--Pistazienfresser 19:27, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Done :) Redirect doesn't work with category pages. Last time I tried software just removed redirect.

All the work that was openly discussed here and in the openSUSE forums seems lately to be undone without any comment:
So should this decisions, unexplained and contrary to the conclusion of open discussions, reflect openness??? --Pistazienfresser 21:10, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
