SuSE Linux 7.0 was released on Wednesday, September 27, 2000. This was the last release to use KDE1 by default. It was preceeded by SuSE Linux 6.4 and succeeded on January 24, 2001 by SuSE Linux 7.1. It introduced ALICE (Automatic Linux Installation and Configuration Environment) and reached its End of Lifetime on November 4, 2002. The Live Evaluation disc was removed from the FTP server to save space.
