"There is no extra “purge” step (`apt-get purge`) required in RPM." Completely B/S, 'cause "purge" removes config files and there's NO WAY to remove configs with zypper or yast install, so you need to remove it manually like a moron :( RPM has only 1 advantage - drpm. That's all.
