- One alternative is git-notes https://git-scm.com/docs/git-notes to track the changelogs
- Manuel will check the features, and see how it behaves with cherry-picks, merges, reviewable in a PR, etc.
- Can they be edited without changing the commit hash? This feature was missing when storing the changes in the commit message (required when adding a missing bsc / CVE reference in the changelog)
Dan started to look at the scm-bridge
- OBS webui is not able to handle it, no autosync implemented, very rough
- Adrian mentions that he wants to implement autosync and better pbuild integration in osc
Question: git submodules in the upstream code
- https://github.com/openSUSE/obs-build/issues/849 I don’t understand what’s going on here. My project https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:mcepl:work/rofi-wayland still fails.
- Adrian confirms the code is merged but not yet deployed - will be done later today
