Open a Shell

In my opinion:

An article on that issue would be great to have in the wiki. It could help many users that are new to linux based systems. Many may not be used to use any (only) text based user interface and therefore be a bit afraid. But the most basic skill may be to get back to a graphical user interface by pressing [Control]+[Alt]+[F7](and users may not be able to see the way back after they are in a text based interface therefore please tell it first). An other usefull skill may be to use copy and past from the any explanation to the text based interfaces (e. g. by default you have to use [Control]+[c]+*[Capital letter/Up]* in GNOME Terminal).
