About me

I'm Yoshio, and I'm an openSUSE package maintainer, openSUSE Heroes system administrators member, community meetings attendee, openSUSE Bar™ regular and just a contributor.

I became an openSUSE user in 2021 and immediately became in love with the distribution and how it works. From there I started getting more familiar with the community and openSUSE as a whole.

In late 2024 during one of the many openSUSE Bar™ evening sessions I made a decision to become part of the openSUSE Heroes infrastructure administration effort, this was also the moment I decided to become an active member of the community.

It's just a beginning for me in the community, and I hope to help openSUSE to thrive and become better in upcoming years.
