What I like about openSUSE?

That it's a project with a lot of great innovations and smart people, even if it's still an underrated Distribution.

What am I doing at openSUSE?

Some smaller bugfixes and contributions from time to time. I started to work on some packages in OBS that make it one day maybe into Factory. Interested to join the new openSUSE:PublicCloud team with a focus on AWS and maybe an opportunity to convince Hetzner to bring openSUSE back ;)

What skills I have?

Where to start?! I know different programming languages. I'm pretty good in troubleshooting and problem solving. If I don't know something, I'll figure it out and get it done. I maintain a couple Fedora packages. In future hopefully some openSUSE packages too. I contribute to various open source projects when I have time.

My real name is Dominik Wombacher, people also call me Dom, online you find me as wombelix too.

I'm a passionate engineer, I need the challenge, give me problems to solve ;)

Daily driver on my personal laptop is openSUSE Tumbleweed.
