Who am I: Hi, I am 'taj' - Emily from, Ohio, USA. I have been using linux since the mid-late 1990s, and moved to Tumbleweed in late 2020. I have spent the last 20+ years running a variety of linux distributions and free software of all sorts. I believe in free software and continue to try to find new ways to promote it to my friends, family and people everywhere.
Contributions: Since then I have become active in the Discord/Matrix/Element community helping whenever I can, and have recently become a Moderator on Discord, and am part of the emerging Moderator Committee. I am also active in the openSUSE Bar, interacting with people and helping them work through issues and talk things out. I have also been participating in the weekly Community Meetings. I have also been working on looking through openSUSE's repo's on Github, and changing gendered pronouns to be gender-neutral, wherever I find them.
Since February 2022, I have been learning to package in OBS. I have been updating various GNOME:Next packages, and various others as I can. I have created a handy 'OBS Cheat Sheet' which I reference frequently and which several people asked for at the openSUSE Conference 2022, and which I am subsequently uploading here.

Bill Schouten / Renegadext - Emily deserves a membership in the openSUSE community for her ongoing contributions in the openSUSE Discord and Matrix servers. She is oftentimes helping other users with issues regarding gaming, Gnome, or other systems management. She frequently visits the openSUSE bar and advocates for the advancement of the distribution wherever she goes. Emily has also participated in GSoC, and other OSS projects.
