Lalo here — open source enthusiast, fantasy fiction fan, and proud Gen-Xer who runs on coffee and curiosity.

• 🎓 Undergraduate student in Systems Analysis and Development
• 🐧 Tinkering with Linux and BSD — yes, I read man pages
• 💻 Bash, C and Lua enthusiast — scripting, building, and occasionally breaking things
• 🔐 Learning system internals and security from the ground up
• 🧠 Forever curious about how computers works

• 🤓 Books on philosophy, calculus, linear algebra, probability, scripting languages and unix systems administration
• 📜 Learning Latin for fun (yes, really)

• A relentless curiosity for how things work—whether it’s a neural network, a line of Latin, a poetic metaphor, or a block of code.
• The joy of learning and the challenge of turning complexity into clarity, especially through teaching and thoughtful communication.
• Deep satisfaction in building things that matter and exploring big ideas across disciplines.
• Immersion in great books—especially fantasy, gothic literature, and theology.
• Strong coffee and a bit of chili heat to keep the mind sharp and the soul warm.

• Promote the openSUSE system and its community.
• Organize Release Parties and Install Fests.
• Support local Linux User Groups.
