My name is Jochen Hayek. I have been living in West Berlin, Germany, since 1988. I have been using SUSE Linux ever since 1994, when it was my first Linux distro, and it has stayed my personal Linux distro for all my computers.
I am a freelance software developer, contracting fulltime wherever customers want me.
I am mostly into scripting languages like ruby, perl, and shell, but I also love Ada. I love DocBook for authoring.
I have been into Unix since about 1980.
