Tropic USB Provision

TUSBP is an open-source utility that provides access to the cryptographic functions of the TROPIC01 hardware security chip over USB. It allows users to generate random numbers, securely store and retrieve data (such as encryption keys or passphrases) in the chip’s internal memory slots, and interact with TROPIC01's encryption and decryption capabilities.

Unlike traditional smartcard or token tools, TUSBP focuses on providing raw access to TROPIC01’s hardware-backed security functions, giving users the flexibility to integrate it into custom workflows for GPG, SSH, or other encryption tasks. It is designed for users who want full transparency and control over key generation, storage and usage, without relying on proprietary firmware or software.
