Jump to: navigation, search
This article is a HOWTO on converting flash video files (files with the .flv extension) to divx video files (files with the .avi extension) using a program called Avidemux. This HOWTO is limited in scope to converting flash video files to divx video files. The program Avidemux that I am using in the following guide is available for Linux, Windows and Mac OSX. If you have used the UnPlug plugin for Firefox you would have downloaded a video file with the .flv file extension.
