need help

Login to Open Suse forums FAILS without error message. Acts like nothing happened, login disappears and page remains the same, can't post questions. Account verified, no link or return to forums page. Worst forum site ever. Who designed this? This is the only forum site I've ever had issues with in 20 years. Never seen one that did not work before today. I bought and tried Suse Linux in 1997. Not very new to this. Somebody needs to fix this. No contact available. I think I'm talking to a wall right now. I doubt that anything will come of this and I'll just have to return to Mint or Ubuntu again, as no other OS works as well. (anything is still better that windows though, even a broken Linux OS.)

This sounds like a problem related to the account migration. I guess you missed the migration and created a new account with the same mail address. We can get this fixed, please write a mail to admin@opensuse.org and include your username. --Cboltz (talk) 21:01, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

SuSEfirewall issue

Hi,

I have a ISP connection with a.b.c.d/30 (WAN Side) and w.x.y.z/29 (LAN side). I have chosen SuSEfirewall as firewall cum router. The issue I am facing is Whenever I ping or traceroute the packet takes out my WAN IP instead of my LAN IP.

Plesae note : w.x.y.z/29 further configured on a secondary susefirewall which handles several LAN and DMZs.

Thank you. Jnani
