What is OSEP?

OSEP (openSUSE Enhancement Proposal) is a document providing information to the openSUSE community or describing a process in Factory or its environment. The OSEP should provide a concise specification and rationale of the process it is explaining.

OSEPs are intended to be the primary mechanisms for proposing major new procedures and for documenting the design decisions that have gone into Factory. The OSEP author is responsible for building consensus within the community and documenting dissenting opinions.
