Step 1: Install kiwi-ltsp packages

Do 1-click install of kiwi-ltsp

1-click.png For openSUSE 10.3 and 11.0 (Only for developers)

Step 2: Preparation for image building

  • Mount openSUSE 11.0 i586 DVD5 iso (not the live) at /mnt/11.0
  • Change the configuration(IP address, network, DHCP range) according to your setup in /etc/sysconfig/kiwi-ltsp using your preferred editor or YaST2 sysconfig editor.

Step 3: Build live CD client

Run the following as root: 

 kiwi-ltsp-setup -cd

The iso image will be created in /tmp/kiwi-ltsp-cd
