This year we can offer on Saturday October 23 different LPI exams at the conference. For details please read below the German or English description.
LPI-Prüfungen bei der openSUSE Conference 2010
Das Linux Professional Institut (LPI) führt während der openSUSE Conference 2010 am Samstag LPI Prüfungen durch.
* LPIC-1 und LPIC-2 (101, 102, 201, 202) - auf Deutsch und Englisch * LPIC-3 (301, 302, 303, 304) - auf Englisch * Univention Certified Professional Prüfung (LPI 198) - auf Deutsch
Besucher der openSUSE Conference 2010 zahlen für jede Prüfung des LPIC-1 und LPIC-2 und die Prüfungen 302, 303 und 304 jeweils 75,- EUR. Für die Prüfung 301 werden 95,- EUR Prüfungsgebühr berechnet. Die Prüfungen finden am Samstag, 23. Oktober um 9:00 Uhr statt. Treffpunkt für alle Teilnehmer ist jeweils 15 Minuten vor dem Starttermin im Prüfungsraum.
Seit August 2010 wird die neue LPI-Prüfung LPI 304 zu den Themen "Virtualisierung und Hochverfügbarkeit" angeboten. Mehr Informationen zu den Inhalten der LPI-Prüfung LPI 304 finden Sie hier: http://wiki.lpi.org/wiki/LPIC-304
Für alle Angebote ist die Teilnahmegebühr vor der Prüfung in bar zu begleichen. Teilnehmer müssen vor Beginn der Prüfung einen gültigen Lichtbildausweis und eine gültige LPI-Identifikationsnummer vorlegen. Die LPI- Identifikationsnummer muss online unter dieser URL www.lpi.org/caf/Xamman/register beantragt werden.
Achtung: Die Anzahl der Prüfungsplätze ist auf 20 Teilnehmer begrenzt und eine Voranmeldung wird dringend empfohlen.

LPI exams at openSUSE Conference 2010
The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) offers all of its available exams during openSUSE Conference 2010 on saturday:
* LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 (101, 102, 201, 202) – in German and in English, * LPIC-3 (301, 302, 303, 304) – in English, * Univention Certified Professional Examination (LPI 198) – in German.
Visitors of openSUSE Conference 2010 pay 75 EUR for any LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 exams as well as for the exams 302, 303 and 304. For exam 301, a fee of 95 EUR will be charged. The exam will take place on saturday, 23rd october at 9:00 a.m.
Since august of this year the new LPI exam 304 about Virtualization and High Availability will be offered in paper form at events. You can find more information about the contents of LPI 304 at http://wiki.lpi.org/wiki/LPIC-304.
The participation fees for all offers must be paid in cash before the exam. Participants must produce valid photo identification and a valid LPI-Identification number. The LPI-identification number must be applied for under following URL: http://www.lpi.org/caf/Xamman/register
Attention: The number of examination-seats is limited and advance reservation is recommended. The examination room will be signposted. Meeting point for all participants will be 15 minutes prior to examination begin in the examination room.
