Upcoming Board Election

• Election Officials requested additional help.
• Gerald asked for volunteers on the project mailing list, and we got first responses.
• Leave the volunteer call for another 48 hours.
• In parallel, ready the Membership Platform (OS Lounge: https://github.com/ishwon/opensuse-lounge) for the 2025 election.
  • Submit OS Lounge to openSUSE Hackweek 2025 listing the missing features
• Proposal: Members with bouncing mails are moved from active membership status to emeritus membership status.
• Proposal passed with vote 5:0:0
• Media awareness (blog/interview format) on what entails to be a candidate for the Board Election.

AI guidelines

• Had a look at Fedora's guidelines and feel these are aligned.
• Reviewing and discussing a potential AI Policy (Work in progress as draft) :

openSUSE and Sovereignty

• Updated https://en.opensuse.org/DigitalSovereignty/EU after feedback from Heroes.

• Worked fine (Feedback is "a heck better", "a lot better" to "no difference").
• Simon not present during this meeting for feedback. Board will test run again in two weeks.
• Shawn will provide feedback to Jitsi maintainer.
