Meeting Bot

  • Reminder went out, thanks to Christian (and Neal for earlier steps)!
  • Meeting time was wrong by half an hour and we want the reminder to go out on Saturday.
  • Gerald already submitted changes for that - now waiting for approval. Please. 🙂

Sale of openSUSE swag at oSC25

  • Is it possible to setup an openSUSE shop at oSC?
  • Attendees can buy swag like t-shirts, backpacks, mugs, stationery etc.
  • Doug: shop.opensuse.org is three seperate external companies, we don't hold or host any inverentory. The minimum buys for us to be able to do so is prohibitive.
  • Doug will reach out to one of the providers to see if they'd be interested.
  • Another idea could be to pre order and ship to Doug.

Progress and Process (Question) on Documenting Membership Types

  • Technical process isn't great, using local version control
  • Change 1 - Prepare by simplifying and unifying language
  • Change 2 - Add the new changes to add members.
  • AI: Gerald to send through first round of changes to board@ then project@ later in the week.

Status update on SUSE IT

  • Jeff had a 1:1 with SUSE IT, around the break down between SUSE and openSUSE with regards to bidirectional communication with regards to IT tickets. They understand the issue and need for a solution.
