openSUSE Asia Summit 2023

  • China was choosen by the openSUSE.Asia Summit committee and the

dates will be: 21-23th October 2023

Geeko Foundation

Patrick brought up monetary contribution setup and terms for recognition.

Initial thoughts by Patrick: with the creation of Geeko Foundation, I think we need to look at a membership structure for the Foundation, such as: - Member - Supporter ($) - Contributor - Event Sponsor ($) - Project Sponsor ($) - Foundation Sponsor ($) and so on.

Some back and forth on specific terminology ensued, will be discussed further F2F at oSC23.

Donation based Social Contract

  1. Deferred to next meeting
  • Should openSUSE have social based contract, something like

  • The trademark, patent and license sections will probably need to be reworked
