How to Get There

SUSE Offices is located at Maxfeldstraße 5, 3rd Floor Nuremberg, Germany

Public Transportation

From Best Western take Underground line 1 (or 11) to Plärrer, then use the opposite platform to take train number 3 (direction of Maxfeldstr) and go until Maxfeldstraße. At the underground station take the exit behind the end of the train and walk up to the office.

Alternatives:

  • Switch at Hauptbahnhof (longer and more complicated to switch)
  • use Underground line 2 (or 21) or 3 until Rathenauplatz and walk from there

to the office (slightly longer walk and a tiny bit more complicated to walk out of the station)

Organization

  • We will use the All--Hands room in SUSE Offices for full gatherings.
  • This hackfest is specifically for 12.1 tasks. General marketing and artwork topics should be discussed during the Conference itself.
  • Kickoff session will prioritize tasks we want to address during hackfest, based on who is present and what their desired contributions will be.
  • We will break out into small groups, using small rooms, to focus on tasks
  • We will have one review period with everyone together each morning and afternoon. Each review session will last 20 minutes.

Break times are as you need. You are not in prison.  :-)

Food will be provided during the hackfest. We want you alive and well after the hackfest!

You are required to bring your own laptop. Wireless access will be provided. Please bring any materials you may have which are not already up on our wiki or other openSUSE-related web site.
