About

The YaST CD-ROM Drives module is used to configure CD/DVD devices in your system. The list given when the YaST CD-ROM Drives module is opened is a list of all the detected CD/DVD drives in your system.

Integration into the system means that a symbolic link to the device name has been created, a /etc/fstab entry exists, and a directory exists for the CD/DVD device under the /media directory.

Add and Remove are used to change the status of the device on your system. By adding, these entries and directories will be created. By removing, these entries will no longer be present.
