Hi, my name is Andreas Stieger and I'm a lead software engineer living in Dundee, managing a team of developers and a fair number of servers running high-throughput online applications.
I have been using openSUSE, named "S.u.S.E." back then, since its 7.0 release in 2000 professionally and at home. I was always active in local and online SUSE and GNU/Linux related communities, but got more involved in openSUSE once the development process was opened up. I provide user support through various channels and create, maintain and review packages for current and future openSUSE releases, mainly development and network related software and libraries.
