Hi, my name is Andreas Stieger and I'm a software engineer currently located in Ulm, Germany. I've been using openSUSE, named "S.u.S.E." back then, since it's 7.0 release in 2000. While being somewhat active in local and online SUSE and GNU/Linux related communities, I was glad Novell opened the development process. Hence I got involved in testing development releases, submitting bug reports and patches and providing user support through various channels. I was recently awarded openSUSE member status and will continue to contribute to the project as time allows.
