Talk:Documentation
From openSUSE
Is there somewhere to be found a nice CD cover design for the instalation CD-s?
Stop translating the page. If you want a translation up, which is a good idea, do something to differentiate, and place a link. For example, ES-Documentation, and put the spanish translation there. Changing the documentation article back and forth is not only useless but irritating. So Magnifico... STOP.

Hm, I have a question. How I can trunslate pages to russian?
Check out the OpenSUSE Wiki Project page. Localizations have been created for a few languages, though I don't remember off-hand which. Get on the mailing list, and request a russian localization. --CuCullin 09:19, 17 Jan 2006 (MST)
Now that localized wikis are up, we need to translate.
from what I have in this page (not pasted by me), I can see the english page has been much modified. part for the best (nice), but also a part have been deleted. see what I have:
http://fr.opensuse.org/Documentation
is this deleted part available somewhere or obsolete? thanks Jdd sysop 15:40, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Documentation Look
I certainly like the way that the Documentation Portal page has been reorganized.
I added a link to Hardware Compatibility List because I feel that it would be useful to many people starting out with SuSE. Personally I would like to see the Hardware compatibility list updated and become a useful tool. --Meiqur 08:01, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Links included on Documentation page
This is comment to User:Reisi, but it is applicable for all new opensuse.org users.
While effort to enrich openSUSE is what everybody here will greet, placement of content including links is important.
The Documentation page is very general index of types of documents that can be found on openSUSE.
Screenshots link might link to the page that will list all kinds of screenshots, not one specific set bound to installation of single version of SUSE Linux.
I'll see to find appropriate place, and leave message here.
Thanks, --Rajko M, 00:36, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- Stefan as promissed, your link is on the Screenshots page, but it would be better to create page from the link provided for SUSE 10.1. It will load faster.
- And, please don't change Documentation page until you spend more time on opensuse.org and understand what others are are trying to do. There is a lot of other pages where you can contribute, and of course there is Sandbox to tryout wiki formating.
