HCL:AMD fglrx
The AMD Catalyst (fglrx) proprietary driver is no longer supported in openSUSE Leap 42.2+. However, a list of cards supported by the former drivers is provided here for reference.
Newer cards are supported by the AMDGPU and AMDGPU-PRO drivers, while all other cards are supported by the open-source Radeon drivers.
Supported hardware by AMD fglrx driver
Version: Leap 42.1 and older openSUSE Leap 42.1 was last version providing AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition drivers (15.12), historically also named as FGLRX or Catalyst drivers. For openSUSE Leap 42.2 or above, please use the open source radeon driver or AMDGPU-PRO driver instead.
The AMD fglrx starting with Catalyst 12.6 (8.980) will work only with radeon chipset HD5xxx or above.

Version: 12.2 and older The AMD fglrx legacy driver is no longer provided on 12.3 or above, please use the open source radeon driver instead.
