About Easy-LTSP

Easy-LTSP is part of Google Summer of Code 2008. Easy-LTSP is a tool that helps you to configure your LTSP Server. The whole configuration is based on Tasks, that you can choose to add to your configuration.

Re-write of Easy-LTSP in python is underway so look out for the all new Easy-LTSP-NG(screenshots).

Working with Easy-LTSP

To start working with Easy-LTSP you can choose to parse an existing configuration or create a new one. Also Easy-LTSP provides the possibility to save your configuration in an XML file, with all info about the added tasks. You can also load such an XML file to start to work, maybe from a backup. You now have the possibility to add more Clients or change the configuration, either by manually adding variables or by using the predefined tasks. At every point you can have a preview of how your new configuration file will look like.

Here is a picture tour of the application in action.
