Packaging of special science applications

Repackaging of standard applications
Sometimes packages that are already part of the standard distribution needs to be recreated to use special compile options or extra libraries.
Special compile options can be:
- extra language extentions for libraries (e.g. fortran, python, ...)
- mpi for parallal computing
- additional library usages
The Education Project is providing packages for educational use.
