Introduction and Biography
IT Software Engineer & Linux Enthusiast
I discovered my passion for Linux during my school days in 2007 at the 56th high school âAm Trachenbergâ in Dresden. Thatâs when I started saving old computers from the junkyard with the help of Linux. Since then Iâve been passionate about the free and open source Linux operating system.
After various internships, further training, projects and employment as a specialist for pool operations in Dresden, I have specialized in the execution of professional applications under Linux in recent years.
And since then I have been creating intelligent, future-oriented IT solutions for small and medium-sized companies, public administrations, social facilities and institutions as well as private individuals who want a stable, secure and user-friendly work environment.
My Vision
My vision is to support people worldwide to successfully master the digital future and to turn their dreams and ideas into reality.
As a âone-man showâ, I will accompany you on your way into and through digitization â regardless of whether you are at the very beginning of your journey or flying into a storm. True to the motto: âTogether we create a future with identity and meaningâ.
My Mission
There are many IT software developers â but only a few with my expertise. I would like to constantly expand this and position myself even more strongly as a partner for âsustainable and scalable solution concepts for Linuxâ. In doing so, I rely on long-term relationships characterized by trusting cooperation at eye level â whether with companies, public institutions or private individuals.
My Values
For me, the focus is on togetherness. I see myself as a âone-man showâ and act on an equal footing with my customers and partners in my daily work. My values shape my actions and my cooperation. They shape me and represent the basis on which I am constantly evolving in order to achieve my big vision of tomorrow through the right small steps today.
My Contribution to the openSUSE Community
As a dedicated openSUSE enthusiast, my keen interest lies in both the ongoing development of openSUSE and the rich history of SUSE. Moreover, I extend support to individuals worldwide through my videos, offering valuable tips and tricks to help them navigate the openSUSE environment with the same ease found in other prominent Linux distributions. Additionally, I initiated the openSUSE Baldur project, which endeavors to integrate the XFCE interface into openSUSE MicroOS, introducing it as a third variant alongside openSUSE Kalpa and Aeon.
