I ran uptime after my system had been turned on overnight and it reported the system had been on for only about 15 minutes, which I presume is the time I had actually been sitting at the computer this morning. I ran top ad it reported the system had been on for well over 14 hours. Is uptime only counting time when I am using the keyboard and mouse and ignoring the screensaver time?

OS:SUSE Linux 9.3 Professional uname: Linux uname -r: 2.6.11.4-21.8-default

The uptime is supposed to be the time interval since the last boot. This may be wrong if you correct the local time of the computer while running, or if your hardwareclock goes wild. Misleading Title

This page should rather be named "Report a Bug" or at least "Submit a Bug Report". openSUSE doesn't need more submitted bugs I think :-)...
