The SUSE Meta PPP Daemon manages Dial-Up connections on behalf of the user. It supports

ISDN, Modem and DSL connections
manual dialing
dial on demand
multiple providers
ISDN channel bundling
PPP over ATM, PPTP, PPPOE for DSL
accounting of time and traffic
remote control over the network

There is a command line tool (cinternet), a KDE3 applet (kinternet) and a Qt4 applet (qinternet) to control smpppd
