Logrotate

logrotate is a utility to compress and cleanup system logs automatically. Your openSUSE should already have logrotate installed and running, so your log files won't grow. However, logrotate can only process logs stored in standard location. If your Apache server configured different location, these files are out of control. You can edit /etc/logrotate.d/apache2 and add your custom log file path.
