KTorrent

KTorrent is a BitTorrent client written in C++ for KDE, thus using the Qt Toolkit.

Its main features are:

• Upload speed capping, seeing that most people can't upload infinite amounts of data.
• Internet searching using, among others, The BitTorrent website's search engine (using Konqueror through KParts).
• Support for UDP trackers (UDP Tracker Protocol).
• The ability to choose which files in a BitTorrent archive will be downloaded by the client.

To make KTorrent the default program for torrents, click a torrent link, and open it with /usr/bin/ktorrent (KDE 4) or /opt/kde3/bin/ktorrent (KDE 3)
