Eye of GNOME is an image viewer for GNOME. It can open ANI, BMP, GIF, ICO, JPEG, PCX, PNG, PNM, RAS, SVG, TGA, TIFF, WBMP, XBM(X Bitmap) and XBM(X Pixmap), by default. It can save to ICO, BMP, JPEG and PNG by default.
