- DVD&NET "Check Installation Media" always reports Checksum wrong (

- Computer does not hibernate when battery reaches critical low percentage (Bug #675405)..
- NetworkManager fails to start on bootup. Workaround is to start it from console (Bug #675261).
- Regression in Radeon graphics drivers leading to disabled GPU acceleration: Bug #675147
- Firefox does not ask before closing a window with multiple tabs, even if it is configured to do it (

- The "New Mobile Broadband Connection" wizard in KNetworkManager crashes (Bug #673755). It is not possible to set up a new mobile broadband device via UI, but it can be used if a configuration already exists, and the config can be created by manually editing under ~/.kde4/ -- see comment # 13 on the bug report.
- Crash under certain conditions of the "KDE System Settings" application when accessing the "Locale" module. Will probably happen if user preserves her home directory when installing; Requires manual edition of a text file as explained in
Bug #671547, comment # 7.
- Live upgrade by zypper dup can crash, leaving rpm broken, by uninstalling liblzma0 (Bug #677425). Workaround: Lock the package by calling zypper al liblzma0' and/or perform zypper up rpm beforehand.

- LiveCD KDE Broken - X desn't start, installer too... (Bug #671414).
- Some application windows like the Firefox or the LibreOffice ones, have a very small size when launched in GNOME + Compiz. (

- yast2-gtk busy looping forever in several yast modules (

- 64-bit DVD isos are broken and too big to burn on single layer DVD - workaround: use NET iso
- USB-boot broken (Bug #666504) - workaround: use LiveCD from Milestone 5 of 6 or a Factory iso for install and afterwards run zypper up.
- ksoftirqd 100% cpu (Bug #465039): critical as well as classical
- kernel modesetting still problematic while radeon driver does no more support user modesetting -> radeonhd is currently the only escape (Bug #620439) - various monitor models are affected: see at kernel.org report
- event queue overflows and lifelocks by Xorg cause complete system hang in various settings (FreeDesktop Bug 32393)
- certain PCMCIA wlan cards no more supported (Bug #654261,Bug #654262)
- USB khubd kernel oops (Hotplugging Smartphone only works for the first time) Bug #647693
- lilo boot manager: systems like Windows, OS/2 and others can not be booted; infringed booting facilities for Linux (Bug #642401)
- external display can not be configured using the nouveau driver (FreeDesktop Bug 33695)
- root has by default no Xorg-access, KDE3-apps are not on Xstartup path (Bug #478633, resolution known)
- Since 2007 KDM themes can not be applied through control center. Like 11.3, 11.4 M6, continues with this issue. Bug #267903

GNOME
- No panel visible on first boot or when adding a new panel (
Bug #637180). Workaround: restart gnome-panel (by logging out and in again, or with "gnome-panel --replace"). - Main menu not visible in the panel (
Bug #637229). Workaround: manually add the applet. Note that you'll have the applet twice once you get a fixed panel, though. - Some application windows like the Firefox or the LibreOffice ones, have a very small size when launched in GNOME + Compiz. (
Bug #671592).
