About
Apache is open source and the most popular http-server. Some survey found that more than 70% of the content published on the World Wide Web is handled by Apache, making it more widely used than all the other web servers combined.
The Apache is an Apache Software Foundation project, with goal to provide a secure, efficient and extensible server that provides HTTP services in sync with the current HTTP standards.
