Open-PC
The Open-PC is a project to enable the Linux Community to build a PC from the Community for the Community. This PC will be a true free software PC which will work without proprietary drivers and only with free software. It will be preconfigured so that regularly users can use the PC easily.
The idea is that the Linux Users and Developers decide which kind of PC hardware they want, which kind of free software they want and how the PC is preconfigured.
This talk gives an update about the state of the project and the roll of openSUSE.
For information, please see the open-PC website.
