LTSP Meetings

we have had our first meeting to begin integration of LTSP and KIWI into 10.3 and the EDU-CD . here are the minutes.

Work to do

• Create SUSE plugin for installing LTSP on SUSE to merge with upstream LTSP code
• Create and publish kiwi image description file i.e. kwltsp-suse-1xx.x to build chroot system
• We need help of KIWI hacker to integrate ltsp client side and server side scripts in the image
• Also require a network filesystem guru to work with nfsroot \ LTSPFS and SUSE
• We also require someone with knowledge of shell and udev scripting
• We need to port ldm (LTSP Display Manager) and ltspfs/d to SUSE.
• We aim for Alpha release as soon as possible, Beta by openSUSE 10.3 release and full integration with openSUSE 10.3+
