-* (for 11.2) Evaluate the possibility of leaving the splash-screen at KDE login slightly longer so that an incomplete (no panel, no folder-view) desktop does not show during the first few seconds at start up. At present both the panel and the folder-view widget show up after the splash-screen has disappeared, and right in the user's face making the desktop start up look messy and unprofessional ([https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=547999 bnc#547999]).

KDE Team IRC Meetings

The Novell/openSUSE KDE Desktop Team invites everyone interested to join the #opensuse-kde channel for KDE related matters and to chat with the hackers that are there to support the KDE community on openSUSE.

In addition, the KDE group has started holding regular meetings for anyone interested to show up and suggest or discuss topics.

There are some tasks related to managing the meetings, see KDE/Meetings/Managing for details.
