What is a popup?

A popup is a small window which pops up in another window and where the user can edit some information.

Properties of a popup

  • Full window decoration and title
  • No help text in the popup dialog
  • Help text for the popup dialog is displayed in the left column of the main dialog.
  • A pop-up dialog has only one page.
  • Navigation buttons (OK/Cancel) are aligned on the bottom right
  • Avoid group boxes withing pop ups

Important
