| OpenZIS | OpenZIS was developed after watching OpenSIF.org decide to cancel development. Educational Facilities need an open source Zone Integration Server so that other open source software can be developed that follow the SIF Specification. We are strong followers of the Open Source Community and this project will always be open source. Our goal is to develop a fully functional Zone Integration Server based on the Schools Interoperability Framework 1.5r1 spec. We are planning on building this on all open source software so that schools can integrate this into the systems with out extreme costs. We intend to incorporate every feature listed in the 1.5r1 Specification and updating the software within 3 months of a new release of a SIF Specification. This will make sure that we are always working with the current SIF Specification. We will be coding OpenZIS in PHP. We will bring in mind security as it is a large part of the SIF Specification. We intend on working with all the possible standards we can on this. | GPL | Educators everywhere! | Message from the owner(s): "OpenZIS is being reworked from ground zero. Please stay tuned to watch this project" - so it doesn't makes sence at the current situation to create a package for openSUSE. |
