Recruiting new team members

More hands make tasks easy, and more eyes can see better.

We need more people that will read articles and correct, or report, errors, obsolete, inappropriate, inadequate content.

We need people with expertise and without it, experienced wiki editors and new to the wiki.
  • Experts to check existing, create new content, index articles in existing, or new indexes, improve wiki categories and give them more important role in wiki navigation, select good articles and list them in Portal pages.
  • Without any experience, or expertise, to read articles and tell us what can be improved. Is it easy to read and follow? How many words appear as "geek speak", and what words they don't understand? What part of the article makes trouble?

Articles Improvement

Please read and improve
Problems
  • crowded
  • split in smaller articles as subpages;
  • a lot of obsolete stuff; move in subpage and leave on main current;

When creating subpages please use only one level ie. like this page. Main is Wiki Team this subpage is Wiki Team/Current Actions. While it is possible to add more, the maintenance in specific cases is harder.

In general
  • obsolete parts are going in article_name/<suse_version
    • add category
  • things that might be worth to look at, or need expert review to <article_name>/<Needs_Expert_Review>
    • add that to
  • troubleshooting section goes to subpage article_name/Troubleshooting
    • add that to
